So there's these 2 drawn girls, they're drawn very short, like chibi proportions but not the style. If anything the style was more western. Other than that the visuals are mostly a blur. One of them is an amalgamation of different characters, but her personality is mostly Mandy from Billy & Mandy, in that she was a mean faced, scowling bitch of few words. She didn't look like her though, I don't really remember what she looked like. The other, I don't remember what she looked like at all. Her personality was kind, but easily distracted. Actually, the closest thing to a visual representation of her is a light violet color (yeah, just the color). Kind Girl wants to go somewhere, Mean Girl hijacks an orange sports car like it's GTA, they both get in, and drive away. They're riding across a generic grey asphalt unmarked road, through green grassy hills. For now the style of the dream is obviously drawn cartoon background art. Mean Girl drives very fast and reckless, but skilled. We're only seeing them in 3rd person for now. I think at this point, Mean Girl kinda looked like Umaru-chan, in that she had that orange blanket on over her head. The color orange seems to be a common motif for Mean Girl, it's on the car and on her head. She stops to pick up a bear onesie that was dropped along the side of the road, she swaps it with the orange blanket in one frame, like it's a videogame. So I guess she's now Lain too? The style of the dream is getting more realistic. Not photorealistic but more like early 2010's "realistic" videogame. It's also slowly becoming more first person perspective (Mean Girl's perspective). We're now driving off road, and the path is extremely windy and full of obstacles. I can feel myself switching gears to dodge obstacles and drift around corners. Clearly I want to get to my destination ASAP. The final stretch of our path is this super extreme obstacle course: Across the side of a mountain, a tunnel is carved out, and a concrete floor, ceiling, and wall were placed. The wall is for the side facing the mountain, the other side is exposed to the outside, and falling off of it means falling off the mountain into a very tall drop. There's walls placed as obstacles along this half-tunnel, that cover only half of the width, alternating between covering the left or the right. Because the tunnel is carved on the right side of the mountain, when the obstacle covers the left side of the tunnel, I had to steer towards the steep open drop off the mountain. Sometimes there wasn't even enough room for the full width of the car, so the right side wheels would go fully off track. So I'm basically weaving left and right, half the time about to fall off. This final obstacle section was so vivid I could still draw it from memory exactly as I dreamt it. After all that we finally reach the destination town. Driving speed slows down. I am fully immersed into the perspective of Mean Girl. We reach the center of the town, where there's a very large historical building. There's something being projected onto its facade, oddly enough it's a credits roll for a movie we must've just barely missed. Kind Girl is just completely amazed looking all around at the town, it felt like there was an event going on, with lights and so on. Us, as Mean Girl, after all that, we just sink into the driver's seat, looking partly at the sky, and partly at the rolling credits. Kind Girl is supporting herself with her hand next to the driver seat's headrest, and we grab onto it. She doesn't seem to notice. Our face starts aching as we try to hold in tears, a lot of emotion is suddenly swelling out of us. A mishmash of bittersweet, romantic music starts playing. We gently rest our face against Kind Girl's hand. It's clear to me now that Mean Girl is in love with Kind Girl, but Mean Girl doesn't know how to express it, and Kind Girl is none the wiser. After all we did for her, thinking she would reciprocate, and realize that what we did was for love, the reality is that the signal wasn't clear enough. But we don't know how else to act, it's not in our nature as Mean Girl to be vulnerable and just directly say "I love you", that's be too shameful. As I'm staring up, her hand against my face, tears in my eyes, face contorting, and music is playing, I wake up. Now in the real world, my face still feels like I'd been crying, and my mood still feels super melancholic. It took me a while to wear off of all that and get out of bed.
